Plot

The Enterprise discovers a crashed escape pod on a planet with one survivor in critical condition. He is transported to the Enterprise and Doctor Crusher saves his life. When he comes to, he doesn't have any memories so she calls him John Doe. John heals at an incredible rate throughout the episode and even starts emanating energy. Once he is fully healed, an alien ship intercepts the Enterprise and threatens to destroy them if they don't hand over John. But now John has powers. His race is evolving to another form of existence and those that don't have this power kill those that show signs. But John progressed further then any other and now cannot be stopped.
